Unistraw Testing

The Largest contributing factor to the lessening of straw longevity is warm Liquid (65 degrees +)


Longevity of our straws, in all but coffee temp liquid, is upto 20 times that of Chinese products


Ice was not a contributing factor in the breakdown of the straws, in these tests. In fact, the reduced temperatures from ice prolonged the life of all straws, even in "hard lid" tests


24 Hours Later


No single liquid showed greater propensity to degrade the straws than another, even alcohol and milk


If the liquid is below approximately 50 degrees, all of our straws will last 4 full hours under "normal usage"


For these tests, I established "normal usage" as being stirred and taken in/out of applicable lid every 5-15 minutes.
